I'm not sure where in that site you're being so disturbed, but at the big G, all the buildings in the main campus have those kinds of toilets. I was too afraid to use the features... *ashamed* I tried once or twice, but something wasn't working with it and I wasn't interested in forcing it to work. The warmed seats were <3 though.
First and foremost from the smiley face butts. Then after that the, well, the cyborg toilets in general. And the general tone of the spokespeople was...cultish. A cult centered around cyborg toilets. *shiver*
...also, one of the things I've always appreciated about the UW CSE building is that nothing in the bathrooms is automated. Not the toilets, not the urinals, not the sinks, and not the towel dispensers. It's so...relaxing. I always appreciated the implicit admission that there is such a thing as automating too much.
